Orientation is where your Eynesbury journey starts. Eynesbury will host a series of activities and programs for new students to best prepare you for study at Eynesbury. We offer a comprehensive guide to help you effectively and efficiently transition into your Eynesbury studies. For many students this is not only a new study environment but a new country and way of life. Eynesbury staff are committed to helping ensure your success at Eynesbury and in Australia.
What will happen at Orientation?
A wide range of activities happen at Eynesbury including:
Receive information about your Eynesbury program, orientation kit and student diary
Select and enrol in courses and create your timetable
Tours of the campus, library and computing facilities
Be introduced to a range of Eynesbury services and facilities available to you as a student
Meet Eynesbury staff
Meet other Eynesbury students
Obtain your Eynesbury Student ID card
Receive your OSHC card
Learn systems for successful study
There will also be information sessions about accommodation, employment, safety, health and counselling services all designed to help you settle in to your new environment.
Most importantly Orientation ensures that you are enrolled. We will take you through this process step-by-step conducted within small information sessions.
It's also a great opportunity for you to meet fellow students so make sure you bring your smile and you'll be well on your way to making some new friends in no time.
What do I need to bring?
Bring along your Eynesbury Offer Letter, a pen and some paper. International students will also need to bring copies of your Confirmations of Enrolments, passport and contact details including Australian address and phone number, permanent overseas address and a name and email address of next of kin.
What are the dates and where do I go?
Information about Orientation will be sent out to you before you arrive so Eynesbury will let you know when it's happening and where you have to be.
