UniStart is designed for international students seeking entry into undergraduate programs at university. The teaching year for UniStart students involves two stages. Stage 1 is delivered in the student’s home country and involves 17 teaching weeks. Following successful completion of Stage 1 studies, students travel to Australia to commence Stage 2.

Entry into the 1st year of Bachelor degrees

The UniStart Stage 1 program is currently only offered in select partner schools in China.

Students offered a place in the Eynesbury UniStart Program are given a conditional offer of admission into their preferred Bachelor degree at the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia, subject to achieving a pre-determined entry score.

A combination of the three elective courses and three core course total an aggregate score of 500:

  • 3 x core courses account for 200
  • 3 x elective courses account for 300

Stage 1

  • Students must achieve an average grade of 50 percent or above in Stage 1 to proceed to Stage 2
  • Stage 1 assessment contributes approximately 25 percent to the overall score for university entry

Stage 2

  • Stage 2 assessment contributes approximately 75 percent to the overall score for university entry and is a combination of continuous assessment (25 percent) and final examinations (50 percent)
