UniStart is designed for international students seeking entry into undergraduate programs at university. UniStart is delivered in the student’s home country and involves 17 teaching weeks. Following successful completion of UniStart, students travel to Australia to undertake a 16 week Foundation Studies Program commencing in either July or February.

Entry into the 1st year of Bachelor degrees

UniStart is currently only offered in select partner schools in China.

Students offered a place in the Foundation Studies Program following successful completion of the Eynesbury UniStart Program are given a conditional offer of admission into their preferred Bachelor degree at the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia, subject to achieving a pre-determined entry score.

A combination of the three elective courses and three core course total an aggregate score of 500:

  • 3 x core courses account for 200
  • 3 x elective courses account for 300


  • Students must achieve a grade of 50 percent or above in UniStart to proceed to the 16 week Foundation Studies Program
  • UniStart assessment contributes approximately 25 percent to the overall score for university entry

Foundation Studies Program

  • Foundation Studies Program assessment contributes approximately 75 percent to the overall score for university entry and is a combination of continuous assessment (25 percent) and final examinations (50 percent)
